What a couragous young man he was. Not a thought of himself but only concerned about the other people around him. Who would expect anything less from a real Gorbals born and bred fellow.

I believe that Facebook is shutting this site down. It was a very vibrant means of communicating with old Gorbals friends and I don't know if they have all died or just cannot be bothered to come on here again and get some lift into it. Come on your folks who used to be so verbal. Let's give in ...

Hi Patsy, I know what you mean about long flights...When I go home from here in New Jersey, it is only a seven hour flight over and then six hours coming back, depending on tailwinds.
