Hi Gang,
Well that's me jist back from 4 days in Dublin, stayed with friends and had a great old craic but 'am afraid I drank too much ha ha . I drank 16 pints of Guinness on the first night so went on to the Vodka after that. Great going round some of the old pubs that I used to drink in when I was working/living in Dublin years ago. As for round walls Amelia [or Radius work as we called it in the trade] , yes no corners for the dirt to hide ha ha. That was all specialised work to build and you had to be top of your trade to build that type of work, I always likes to build the radius work on my own as I knew what I was doing [not being big-headed], same as the bulls-eye windows and gauged arches building these was an art of it's own. Well I will have to try and detox now so I'm fighting fit for the Gorbals reunion on August the 8th of which I'm really looking forward to, I've donated two copy's of my autobiography to be raffled in aid of Gorbals Pensioners on the night so hopefully they will raise a few quid. Just waiting for my online grocery's to be delivered to my door [ great this internet thing], sitting here listening to Gold radio that plays all the songs from the 60's/70s and some 50's too and I love it. Well folks that's the grocery van turned up so will speak later, take care and God Bless all.

Gosh Danny your inside must be rotten with all that Guiness I know what you are thinking Danny, Guiness is good for you. When I was a wee lassie my da used to give me a wee swalley of Tennents sweet stout it was magic.
Danny I wouldn't have liked to go into the bog after you.

Hi Amelia,
Iv'e slowed down with my alcohol intake after retiring but back in Dublin it was like double my intake ha ha. Every night/day when I finished my shift [in whatever country I was building bricks in], I would have about 7/8 pints then shower and eat. My system was used to it but as I say I have retired 5 years the most I drink is 4/5 pints [with a break of a day or two]. That's me just getting back into my system again although I'm looking forward to my wee Gorbals holiday in early August when I will go banana's again ha ha. Take care Amelia, speak later. :) x
Danny :)
